At Yeargain Foot & Ankle, we believe great patient care starts with a strong, connected team; both in our Dallas office and behind the scenes. Last year, Dr. Yeargain and Dr. Agyen traveled to the Philippines for a meaningful trip focused on strengthening relationships, supporting their team, and continuing to build a practice rooted in collaboration and trust.
Here’s what Dr. Agyen had to say about the experience:
“Our trip to the Philippines was primarily a business-focused visit aimed at strengthening the foundation of our remote operations. We traveled as a leadership team to meet two of our virtual assistants, Julie and Ralph, in person, recognizing the important role they play in supporting our practice on a daily basis. Meeting face-to-face allowed us to build stronger relationships, feel valued and connected to our team’s efforts, and deepen our appreciation for the people behind the work that keeps our operations running efficiently. In addition to the business aspect, the trip also provided an opportunity for leadership alignment and team bonding. We balanced our work commitments with time to experience the local culture and enjoy some island hopping, creating space for meaningful connections outside a traditional work setting. This blend of productivity and relaxation reinforced our belief that strong teams are built not only through collaboration but also through shared experiences and mutual respect, which, in turn, foster a sense of belonging and trust among us all. “

This trip was a powerful reminder that the success of Yeargain Foot & Ankle is built on the dedication of every team member, no matter where they are. By investing in relationships and fostering genuine connections, we continue to strengthen the foundation of our practice – ultimately allowing us to better serve our patients every day.
